Join us for an enchanting evening as the sky above Richfield transforms into a glowing masterpiece. As dusk falls on April 10, 2026, hundreds of biodegradable lanterns will be lit and released into the night sky at the Sevier County Fairgrounds.
This community-driven celebration features more than just the launch—families can enjoy food trucks, music, inflatables, and laser tag leading up to the main event. It’s a magical experience of shared hope and spectacular views that you won't want to miss.
Schedule of Events
5:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Food Trucks, Music, Inflatables, and Laser Tag.
8:30 PM: Lantern Launch Instruction and Preparation.
9:30 PM: Mass Lantern Launch (dependent on wind and Fire Chief approval).

Wristband Pickup: If you purchased lanterns or activity passes, pick up your wristbands at the Exhibit Hall Ticket Office between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM on the day of the event.
Activities: Unlimited wristbands for Laser Tag and Inflatables are available for $10 each.

What is included with a lantern ticket?
Your $10 ticket covers one complete lantern kit, including a 100% biodegradable, fire-retardant lantern and a pre-installed fuel cell. While festival admission is free, a ticket is required to participate in the mass launch.
Do I need a ticket just to enter the festival?
No, admission to the Sevier County Fairgrounds is FREE. You only need to purchase tickets if you want to launch a lantern or access the paid Activity Zone (Laser Tag & Inflatables).
