Ride Description:
This ride is for anyone who is ready for a break from the dust, mud and wind on the trails. Ditch the machine and come join us for a nice leisurely road trip through some of the most scenic highways and byways of Sevier and Piute counties. On this road trip we will be visiting places like Butch Cassidy’s boyhood home, Otter Creek State Park, Fishlake and Seven Mile. We will see everything from the beauty of our Valley all the way up to the aspen and pine trees of the Fishlake National Forest. Lunch will be provided for those who sign up by September 1st, but no one will be turned away from joining us the day of the ride.

Ride Description:
This ride will expose you to some of the tastiest and most famous wild edibles in the West! You’ll also get to try some Deer and Elk meat previously harvested from this very mountain range…all while experiencing the most beautiful, dense aspen forests around. We’ll start by trailering 15 miles to the Sand Ledges. We’ll unload and head up Sweet Water Spring, Cedric’s Dugway, and towards Lost Creek Reservoir. From there we’ll travel down to Gates Lake for lunch (please bring your own food, the Deer and Elk will only be a sample). After lunch, we’ll head to UM Pass for an incredible view. Expect to stop often to discuss a variety of plants along the way. You’re welcome to bring small bags or containers for personal harvesting of wild edibles. Your homework before the ride is to research “Stinging Nettle”.

Ride Description:
This is a slow and easy ride up on the Pahvant Mountain range where participants will take their time to stop and smell the roses. It’s a lazy day ride through the mountains to the west of Richfield. This is a 50-mile ride with little challenge and no worries. This ride will leave at 8:25 am from the staging area.
Intermediate Rides
Ride: Copper Globe Mine
Ride Level: Intermediate

Ride Description:
This ride will take you through the desert of the San Rafael Swell. Our destination is the Copper Globe Mine. If you lack experience or are hesitant upon seeing any portion of the trail, say something to a guide. The mine site is located in Emery County and operated from March 1899 to December 1997! You will have to trailer your machine approximately 1 hour from Richfield. Along the way, keep your eyes open for the wild horses that live in this part of the desert. We will make several stops along the way. Lunch will be on top of some cliffs that are over 1,000 feet high. There will be plenty of opportunities to see and photograph this untouched, wild country. A large portion of this ride is on maintained, county roads. Bring lunch, snacks, lots of drinks. Also, don't forget to bring a camera and some binoculars! The ride is approximately 25 to 30 miles in length. Come out with us and explore this spectacular desert, have a close-up look at some local history, and have a good time meeting new people.

Ride Description:
Take your honey on this ride to the top of the mountain! We’ll be heading up Deer Creek Trail and up to the top of the Tushars. I’ve been told the sky is bigger at the top of the mountain. You’ll have a chance to check it out for yourself as you go above timberline and stop on the summit at 11,500 feet in elevation. On a clear day you can see into Nevada to the west. Be sure to keep an open eye for mountain goats and other wildlife. You might want to bring along your binoculars. Don’t worry about lunch – Big Daddy’s has you covered.

Ride Description:
Travel 50 miles to Ephraim and then a few miles up Ephraim Canyon to the staging area. From there we'll make our way up to the Skyline Drive. The elevation at the top is around 10,500 ft. The Arapeen OHV Trails have some spectacular views and breathtaking scenery. We'll make a loop east toward Joe's Valley Reservoir, stopping at Grassy Lake for lunch. There is one short trail that is rough and rocky but our support people will make sure you get through safely.

Ride Description:
This ride is for street legal vehicles only! And, requires you to trailer your machine to Loa, about 55 miles from Richfield. We will head south toward Escalate where we drop off onto the Posey Lake Road. We will stop at Posey Lake for a restroom break. Then across to Hells Backbone where we will stop to enjoy the canyon views below. From there we will head into Escalate for lunch and gas, you can bring your lunch or buy lunch in town. We will drive west on highway 12 for a couple of miles then we will head north up the canyon, where we can see ancient Indian dwellings high in the canyon walls. This is a long ride so we will be moving along at about 35 miles an hour on gravel roads, only slowing down to enjoy the spectacular views.

Ride Description:
Trailer to Koosharem Reservoir, turn east across the dam, unload and head up the old Fish Lake Banburger Road. We will travel East to the South side of Fish Lake then up to Hightop and Hancock Flat. This is some steep downhill terrain. Then we will head back to the trucks. Make sure to pack a lunch and a love of the mountains.

We will head south out of Richfield to the town of Elsinore where we will jump onto the powerline trail. The trail then continues south across the west bench, past the town of Joseph, where it drops into Fremont Indian State Park. From there we will head up toward Kimberly Ghost Town, where we will make a loop and then head back.

We will head to Koosharem; about 30 miles. Hear the history of Lorenzo Hans “Renzo” Larsen (1910-1988) who tended sheep and created art for forty years on the Fish Lake Plateau. Learn the hows and whys of his art and enjoy a beautiful ride at the same time. We’ll have you home mid afternoon, loaded with history and art that you will never forget.

We will ride on Monroe and Cove Mountains hitting lots of roads mixed with trails. We will go up, over, around, and down visiting Manning Meadow Reservoir, Koosharem Guard Station, Big Lake, Annabella Reservoir and as many trails as possible depending on weather and trail conditions. You will love the fall colors and wildlife. This ride will go at a good pace to get home at a decent time. Bring lunch and gas. This will be a fun ride!
Advanced Rides

Ride Description:
We will travel south out of Monroe across Poverty Flat on an old pioneer trail to the top of the mountain. Keep your eyes open for the wild life and enjoy the beautiful foliage. Next to Barney Reservoir and onto the Paiute trail 01 taking us to the Anderson Dairy. We’ll wind through woods and cross wooden boardwalks that help protect the mountain meadows. After lunch in Koosharem, we’ll head back to the Koosharem Guard Station, cross Monroe Meadow, and follow the Old Sawmill Trail and back into Monroe. Be sure to bring money for lunch, or pack your own to enjoy in the park.
Ride: Beaver Mountain Loop

Ride Description:
The ride requires you to trailer your machine about 60 minutes to Beaver. Leaving Beaver and wind up steep, twisting, tree-lined trails, travel through flower spotted meadows, negotiate switchbacks through beautiful groves of aspens and finally follow bubbling streams along the Tushar Mountain. On the way back we will travel west back into Beaver. There are several gates we will be passing through that make this ride a 50”. We will stop at several scenic lookouts and see the effects of wide fires in the area.

Ride Description:
This ride will meet at the EMS building in the town of Monroe. We will meet at 2:00 pm, and be leaving at 2:30. From there, we will make our way up onto Monroe Mountain, stopping occasionally to see if we can get a bull elk to bugle back to us. Bring along your own dinner - but plan on hot chocolate and doughnuts for dessert as provided by Full Draw Design. Make sure you have plenty of warm clothes as the ride will come down off the mountain after dark.

Ride Description:
This ride has some of Utah’s best kept secrets with views that will knock your socks off, including spectacular views of Capitol Reef National Park, Boulder Mountain, Henry Mountains and some of the most remote canyon country in the nation. Spend a little time playing on the Velvet Ridges – an open riding area that simulates sand dunes with better traction. This will get your adrenaline flowing! You will have to trailer their machines 65 miles to the Great Western Trail trailhead in Torrey. The vistas will be amazing! We should finish the ride in time for you to drive your truck another ten miles or so down the highway to Capitol Reef National Park. It is well worth it if you haven’t been there before. We usually get back into Richfield by 5 or 6 that night.

Ride Description:
This ride is dedicated to longtime guide Don Jamison. We’ll start at the trailhead east of Mayfield and climb to the top of Skyline Drive. From there, we’ll travel along one of the longest high-elevation roads in the country as it stretches across the Wasatch Plateau. Near White Mountain, we’ll reach the high point of the ride and take in the same sweeping views Chief Arapeen once looked over 150 years ago. Along the way, we’ll pass below large rockslides, ride through open swamps, and follow the Pinchot Trail back down to the staging area. Plan to trailer your machine about 40 miles north to Mayfield.

Ride Description:
On this ride we’ll spend some time in Saddle Pass on the south end of Thousand Lake Mountain where the vista of the Fremont River through Capitol Reef National Park and the Henry Mountains will take your breath away. We’ll weave our way through the forest, past meadows and streams. You will see the contrast of the autumn colors with the bright red and gold landscape laying thousands of feet below. You’ll visit a canyon overlooking what the locals call “Little Bryce”. You will see beautiful mountain lakes and the ancient Bristlecone Pine. Make sure to bring along a good lunch.

Ride Description:
This ride will meet in the Snow College, Richfield parking lot at 2:00 pm. The ride will spend the afternoon and evening on the mountain west of Richfield. We will take a few detours to enjoy our favorite trails and see some sites along the way, ending up at an overlook near Devil’s Armchair. Bring a dinner along to enjoy and binoculars if you have them - there may be some deer or elk on the ridge below. After dinner, we will make some Utah scones with honey butter for dessert and then watch the sunset. We expect to arrive back in Richfield after dark so be sure to bring along plenty of warm clothes and don’t forget to check the lights on your machine.

Ride Description:
You'll have to trailer 10 miles to the unloading area. Then it is south and east over the top of the mountain. Riders are in for a treat – as they wind and traverse through three different mountain peaks including Monroe, Langdon, and Forshea. The ride offers fantastic vistas.
